MAILGATE

MailGate allows users to send or distribute emails to Ascom handset carriers without reciepients needing acces to a PC. If the message is short it can be read on the handset screen, in other cases a notification is automatically send to the handset alerting the owner that an email is waiting to be read. Users can create 'rules' in their e-mail client to copy-forward or redirect e-mail to their pocket units, ensuring that only mission critical messages are routed via the system.

Communication is instant and reliable, as MailGate is a complete mail server and does not rely on an existing corporate server.

MailGate can also integrate with process automation equipment to send e-mail alerts concerning faults, etc., directly to pocket units, making for quicker response to developing situations.
